Subterranean Films is focused on ushering in contemporary underground filmmakers as a collective voice in leading the artistic and cultural dialog of moving image and sound. We are especially focused on single-authored films which might otherwise be unrecognised and unavailable to the general public and endeavour to cultivate and nurture an international audience for these works.
Subterranean Films is not anchored to any one place and will have screenings in various locations around the world.
We happily accept multiple submissions from a single filmmaker, but each submission must be made separately.
There is no fee to submit a film.
