About

Max Schleser is a filmmaker, who explores mobile devices as creative and educational tools. His portfolio includes various experimental and collaborative documentary projects, which are screened at film and new media festivals internationally: Videoscope (France), Pocket Film Festival (France), HeART beat Festival (Russia), Museu da Imagem e do Som do Estado (Brazil), South London Gallery (U.K.), East End Film Festival (U.K.), Future Film (U.K.) and The Smalls(U.K.), FLEFF Film Festival (USA), New Zealand Film Archive, Te Papa Tongarewa (Aotearoa/New Zealand). His mobile feature film "Max with a Keitai" is included in the public film archive in the Forum des Images in Paris.

Before joining Massey University, Max lectured at the University of East London and the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in London and Kuala Lumpur.
