Yin and Yang – are polar opposite to each other, but yet related forces or principles. White yang – hard, hot, male, active and the black yin - dark, soft, cold, female, passive. In Greek mythology the male symbol is a bull, a female in German legends – a snail. The predominance of male changes a man into a beast – the furious bull. Female predominance – in a spineless snail. Only the balance of yin and yang leads to the harmonious personality.
