44 Sounds is a text-based, sound collage, film work. The text arrived through a random selection of previously chosen words and phrases. The soundtrack was then composed of forty-four sounds. There are 44 frames/prints and the video last for 4 minutes and 44 seconds.

Mark Graver (b. St.Albans, England in 1964) moved to Kerikeri, New Zealand in 2003.

His current practice involves working with printmaking, digital video and sound with interest concentrated at the point where these approaches meet and cross.
