Variations is a study of forms dominated by abstraction. The film evokes the work of Kazimir Malevich, which can be seen referenced in certain sequences of the film.

Piotr Zoladz was born in 1993, and is a graduate of the Technical School in Tarnów, Poland. He creates abstraction films and is interested in the avant-garde art of the 20th century.
